A Message from our President Toshiko Kawahara

Welcome to Select Co.

For my entire professional career I have been involved in international business. Prior to establishing Select Company in 1989, I worked for a few foreign based companies with offices in Tokyo. Through these experiences I developed a passion for international business and a deep understanding of the importance of strong English communication skills in the Japanese work environment.
In 1986 I was fortunate enough to meet Mr. Yasuo Kitaoka who was responsible for the establishment of using TOEIC as a means for Japanese companies to evaluate English levels in their companies. With his encouragement, I founded Select Company–a business dedicated to helping companies like yours communicate with the world and achieve global success.
